Planning a destination wedding from abroad comes with more than beautiful decisions. There are time zones, unfamiliar vendors, language barriers and cross-border logistics to manage. Most of our couples are based in North America, Australia or the UK, or are expats from those countries living in and traveling across Europe. Many are multicultural or bilingual, and blending two families' traditions into one cohesive celebration is one of our genuine strengths, named again and again in our couples' own words.
One couple chose us specifically because we had planned many multicultural and bilingual weddings already and could help them marry two sets of cultural expectations so that not only they, but all of their guests, could enjoy the day. That is delicate work. It means understanding which traditions are non-negotiable for each family, designing a day that gives both their proper place, and handling the language and logistics so nothing feels lost in translation. For couples planning from another country and time zone, we also become the people on the ground who make a complex, cross-border process feel calm and clear.

We have designed weddings and events across Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Austria, Scotland and Montenegro, and we plan with no boundaries on where we work. Coast and countryside settings, from Mediterranean villas to the fincas of Mallorca, are where our aesthetic feels most at home, though we shape every location around your vision.
From 2026 our home base shifts to Italy, which makes Italian celebrations especially seamless while we continue to plan across the continent. We are also actively expanding into destinations we love, including Mexico, the Canary Islands, Sardinia, Australia, Southeast Asia and South Africa. Because we prefer a new venue for each couple rather than recycling the same handful, our portfolio spans villas, historic estates, coastlines and countryside rather than one signature backdrop, and that range is deliberate.

ONE ERA is a design-led destination wedding and event studio. We provide full-service planning and design for weddings, micro weddings, proposals, milestone birthdays and private celebrations, primarily for international and multicultural couples marrying or celebrating across Europe and beyond. Two of our three founders are trained designers, so design and styling sit at the center of everything we plan.
We plan across Europe and beyond, with experience in Germany, Italy, Spain, Greece, France, Scotland, Austria and Montenegro. From 2026 our base shifts to Italy, which makes Italian celebrations especially seamless. We place no boundaries on destination and regularly work with couples who travel country to country, so we are comfortable planning wherever your story leads.
Yes. We regularly work with couples and the parents supporting them, often across different countries and time zones. We keep everyone aligned with clear communication and organized planning, and we are happy to include parents in design and budget conversations while keeping the couple's vision at the heart of the day.
Most planners sell a single signature look or one region. ONE ERA builds a fresh design and a bespoke vendor team for every couple, so no two weddings repeat. Our founders' interior architecture and design backgrounds mean we treat each event like a designed space, and our multicultural experience helps blend two families' traditions into one cohesive celebration.
You work directly with the founders, Haley, Trang and Wiebke, not a rotating account team. Most couples say the one-on-one relationship is why they chose us. We become the friend and the calm presence you lean on when family and logistics get stressful, and many of our couples stay in touch long after the wedding.
Full-service couples typically invest between 80,000 and 150,000 euros, with most guest lists around 100 to 120 people and an ideal spend near 1,000 euros per guest. If you want to start smaller, Location Scouting begins at 1,300 euros and a Wedding Advisory Session is 320 euros. We are happy to talk openly about budget in a first call.

Italy and Spain are both within our experience, and a budget near 1,000 euros per guest gives us room to design something genuinely yours.
